lyrics

The Vitalist

Oh I suppose the stuff flew up your nose
Leaving you perfectly blameless
Everyone knows that now you're wearing clothes
Who saw you before you were famous

Entropy roars while life still explores
and builds up new creatures in changes
As from the tall, so with the small
more of an instinct than aimless

The Vitalist preens, you've come from his dreams
telling him sleep will be painless
But he'll sleep no more, not even a snore
now that he knows what the game is

I'll come to the point and light up this joint:
let all of God's creatures be shameless.
