about

"Rat Park" featured on The Puddle's 1991 album "Into the Moon" released on Flying Nun Records. Produced by Alastair Galbraith, the album "sounded like it had been recorded in the bottom of a tin can" according to Kiran Dass in her essay "Voodoo Rocker" which appeared in NZ magazine The Listener in 2008.

"Rat Park" is about South Dunedin. This version was recorded live during rehearsals in 2009 for the band's first tour in over 15 years. It doesn't sound like it's been recorded in the bottom of a tin can. It's a bit too good to leave unheard so here you go. Free. To enjoy & share.
